The information seeking process has no beginning or end, you often start over or change your starting point.
What would you like to find out? Formulate your query.
Find keywords, use dictionaries and encyclopedias. You'll find new keywords during your search process.
Select resources. What databases fit? Background papers, scientific materials, laws, definitions, policy documents...
Search. Use different search techniques.
Collect the material. Print, full-text or interlibrary loan?
Source criticism. Is the material truthfully, what purpose does it have? Is it scientific? Can you use it?
The library offers courses to students at various levels. These courses can be booked by your teacher. Please contact your teacher if you are interested in a course in information seeking.
